Huan Huaxi Park
Huanhuaxi Park is one of the top five parks in Chengdu. It is located behind the Dufu Thatched Cottage and connected to the Sichuan Provincial Museum to the east. With an occupation of 32.32 hectares, Huanhuaxi Park is the largest urban park in Chengdu.
With the pleasant scenery and profound historical and cultural background, Huanhuaxi Park is a popular place for leisure and sightseeing by local people and tourists. The Huanhuaxi park consists of three scenic spots, including Wushan Mountain, Plum Garden and Egret Garden.
As a classical garden with modern architecture, Huanhuaxi Park has many beautiful sights to enjoy. In the Plum Garden, besides the numerous plum trees, there are bamboo, river, bridge, and many other trees and flowers. The Lvbo Lake inside the Huanhuaxi Park is the largest artificial lake with artificial islands and roads connected. The Wenshu Square which is decorated with bamboos is a great place to sit down. In the Egret Garden tourists will have chance to feed the cute egrets.
